Day 25 → Your day, in great detail

Well. Alan and I need my labtop to watch our magnificent KDrama on so I'll make this bullet point style:

. Alan and I stayed up until 6:30 AM playing Professor Layton.
. Woke up and Alan ended up coming with me to my Family Christmas party in Fountain Valley where we told every one he was our cousin (They thought he was my bf at first-- LOL NOMG.)
. Watched South Park
. Played white elephant where we got an ipod shuffle (for moi).
. Dropped by Nicole's house to give presents (we matched clothes).
. Alan and I beat the Professor Layton's game at my cousin's house.
. Roco is useless. (roco not rolo).
. Alan and I went home and beat Little Big Planet -- ALAN BEAT THE WHEEL LEVEL TWICE.
. Ate leftovers

B'awww. Imma miss having a roommate when he leaves for Howie's house tomorrow. :'(

Alan came down today!! He is sleeping in my room until the 25/26 and from there he will be shuffled among our friends. :)
Nicole, Alan, and I ate sushi and met up with some friends to watch Princess and The Frog.

Tomorrow is the Christmas Eve party my family always holds!! Yaaaaay~~~ :D :D :D

Hmm. A website?

Well if you like reading original online fiction (and mostly the romantic kind) I suggest Some Kind of Wonderful (SKOW).

This is the kind of website where you nominate your favorite online fiction (most are from fictionpress) into a contest that is split into several categories such as Overall Best Het, Best Chemistry, Most Humorous... etc.

I found this site when I was a sophomore-junior year of high school and I've found most of my favorite online stories/authors through this website. Once or twice every month I always go back here when I just want to find a really good story to read online. :)

Day 21 → A recipe

A recipe I always cook for my family is lemon pasta.

First you cook a batch of angel hair pasta (or spaghetti).
As it is cooking you throw together a mixture of extra virgin olive oil, about two and a half lemons and some hand fulls of Parmesan cheese.
When the pasta is done, you drain it and toss it into the lemon-oil mixture and voila! It is done.
You may add some chopped basil and lemon zest for extra flavor.
Usually, I'm such a piglet that I go right ahead into eating. ;)

*** Life update: Today I went out to eat with my cousins and our moms. My cousin's girlfriend was there. I actually am very bitter towards her because she made my cousin upset. It's also because my cousin chose staying home with her as opposed going to my graduation. I decided tonight to turn a new leaf because whether I hate her or not she makes my cousin happy (for the time being.)

In light of my self pity, I realize that there's really only one friend and I have. She's all I have left because she seems to be the only one who even cares about me anymore. I think to the rest of them my existence is just to humor them. Because I'm the type of friend who will eagerly talk to you and serve as an extra body to have when you want to invite someone. But I'm not the person you would want to hang over when you have the free time.

Day 20 → A hobby of yours

I write comic scripts. Here's the a part of the rough draft for a series I've been writing. The inspiration actually came from a scene that happened here:

GOOMBLINS
The Taking

[Coey is sitting at her desk. She is drawing on her notes.]
Teacher: Class! I have your tests back!
[The children groan. The teacher begins to pass out the tests and stops at Coey’s desk.]
Teacher: Miss Noble, perhaps if you spent more taking notes as you do drawing on them you would do better.
Coey: Oh man.
[Coey sees she’s received another D.]
Coey: But I promised I studied!
Teacher: Doing things with only half effort won’t get you anywhere in my class, Miss Noble-- much less in the real world.
Coey: Not my fault.
Teacher: You keep saying, that Coey.
[Coey scoffs and looks out the window. The panel extends to Freaks darting across the field.]
Coey: Ah! There’s someone out there!
Teacher: In this weather? Perhaps it’s a stray cat, Miss Noble.
Coey: Huh…
Teacher: Miss Noble
Coey: Huh?!
Teacher: I am warning you. As your teacher and dorm master, if you get another failing grade in my class I will have you kicked out and sent on the next train home, do you hear me?!
Coey: A “D” doesn’t really count as failing…
Teacher: And don’t you sass me!!
[Coey cringes as the teacher hits her on the head with a notebook.]

[The panel shifts to Freaks hiding in the bushes. He is clutching a lamp. Freak is breathing very hard.]
Freak: Don’t worry Agetha, I’ll save you…
[A goblin fires a shot through the high grass. Freaks ducks and clutches the lamp to him.
The goblin comes out. He grunts and his nostrils flare.
He starts to near where Freaks is hiding and almost gets close until Dascher calls him back.]
Dascher: Goblin! Where do you think you’re going?
Goblin 1: The boy, sir! This one was sure he saw him go this way!
Dascher: Go back to your station.
[Dascher glances out at the field.]
Dascher: Where ever he is… he’ll be back. That lamp he got was a dud.
[Freaks gasps.]
Goblin 1: S-Sir?
Dascher: Let’s go.
[They leave and Freaks waits until they are gone before throwing down the lamp in anger.]

[The scene goes to the girls dorms of Medrois Middle School. Coey is going through her books in frustration. She starts throwing them on her bed.]
Aimee: Woah! Easy there, Coey! What’s the deal?
Coey: My text book! I can’t find my text book! How am I supposed to answer the review questions?!
Aimee: Just use the internet. It’s the 21st century, you know.
Coey: But the answers are right in the text! It’s just the way the teacher wants it and everything!
[Coey throws some more binders on the bed.]
Aimee: What is this, anyways? You never study.
Coey: The Dorm Mistress warned me if I fail this next test she’ll send me back home. And I rather choke myself then go back there.
Aimee: Mmm, I see.
[Coey throws more papers on the floor.]
Aimee: If this keeps up I’ll have no place to sleep… Hey Coey, why don’t you go to the lost and found?
Coey: The where?
Aimee: Lost and found. Even if you didn’t lost your text, chances are you’ll still find a copy there.
Coey: Aah~ What choice do I have? Where is it?
Aimee: Don’t you have your class planner? There’s a map on the back of that, you know.
Coey: Oh yeah!
[Coey rummages through the piles of paper and holds it out.]
Coey: Found it!
[Coey looks through the planner. Aimee comes up behind her.]
Aimee: There. It should be by Campus Police.
Coey: Woah! By the baseball field? Since when did we have that?
Aimee: Who knows.
Coey: Huh. Well okay then!
[Coey grabs her coat.]
Aimee: Whoa! You’re going right now?
Coey: Better now than never. Save me something from dinner, okay?
Aimee: Be careful. It’s getting dark!
[Coey waves Aimee off. Aimee looks down and sees a fairy tale book.]
Aimee: She’s still reading these kinds of things… no wonder she has a hard time keeping up in class.

[Coey walks through the rain. She looks down at her planner and sighs.]
Coey: Wow, I never been at this side of school before. It’s pretty shady.
Dascher: Excuse me!
Coey: O-Oh, hello.
Dascher: Young lady, isn’t it about time for your dinner? Please head back to the dorms.
Coey: I’ll be there! Do you know where the campus police is? I’m looking for them.
Dascher: It’s just over there by the baseball field. Come, I will lead you.
Coey: Oh, alright.
[Dascher and Coey begin to talk together in silence.]
Coey: What year are you in?
Dascher: I’m a first year in the high division.
Coey: Really? I’m a third year in the middle. I’m going to be a first year next semester!
Dascher: Obviously.
[Again, they fall back into silence.
They finally approach the campus police.]
Dascher: Be sure to be in on time.
Coey: I will.
[Dascher leaves.]
Coey: Sheesh, what a weirdo.

[Coey enters the campus police.]
Lady: Oh! Hello there, can I help you?
Coey: Yeah, I was wondering if anyone turned in a text book?
Lady: Yeah? For which teacher?
Coey: Sheppard.
Lady: Yeesh, I do not envy you. Hold on a second, okay?
Coey: Okay.
[The lady rummages through the bin.]
Lady: I’m surprised you found us! Not many people notice that the campus police is right here, you know.
Coey: Oh! I looked at the map in the back of my planner and I think it was a hall monitor who helped me?
Lady: Oh! That was probably Dascher.
Coey: Dascher?
Lady: Funny name, huh? Yeah he is the hall monitor for this part of the school. He’s my cousin, actually.
Coey: Oh, that’s cool.
Lady: Yeah, I guess. Half our family practically has a job at this school. If you go up to a teacher or chef I wouldn’t be surprised if they had the same last name as me.
Coey: Oh? What’s that?
[Lady smiles.]
Lady: Goomblin.
Coey: Goomb..lin?
Lady: Yes ma’m. Ugly last name, isn’t it?
Coey: No, I don’t think so.
Lady: You’re polite. That’s nice of you. Anyways, I don’t think I see your text here.
Coey: Can I look? I put a book cover on it.
Lady: Sure, come over the counter there.
[Lady leads Coey into the back storage. There are boxes and boxes of things.]
Coey: Oh my gosh.
Lady: Like I said, we’re hard to find so people don’t come here looking for their things, you know? I think we have stuff from like, ten years ago! Anyways, take your time to look around.
Coey: Okay.
[Lady leaves for Coey to look around.
Coey starts by taking out a box and looking through it.]
Coey: Oh, man. Look at all this stuff. Pencil bags, notebooks… it could be any where in here.
[Coey looks around and sees a leg of a stuff animal sticking out.]
Coey: What is that?
[Coey tugs on the leg and out pops Rufus.]
Coey: Oh, poor stuff animal. You were squashed inside there all this time, huh? Oh? What’s that?
[Coey sets down Rufus and pulls out the box.]
Coey: There’s a… night light over here? How weird.
Lady: Did you find it?!
[Coey sticks the nightlight in her pocket and picks up Rufus.]
Coey: No, I didn’t.
Lady: Bummer-- Oh hey, what’s that you got there?
Coey: I found him wedged in the back.
Lady: He looks aged. We have a thirty day policy, you know. If you want, you can keep that.
Coey: For sure?
Lady: Yeah. Anyways, you should head back now dinner already started.
Coey: Oh okay.
[Coey quickly leaves.]
Coey: Thank you!
Lady: It’s no problem!
[As Coey leaves she bumps into Freak.]
Coey: Ah! Sorry!
Freak: It’s alright.
[Coey looks in awe at Freaks’ mismatched eyes before trotting away. She runs outside.]

[Lady looks up as Freak walks in. He pulls down his black hood making Lady gasp.]
Lady: You!
[She runs up to him and hugs him.]
Lady: Are you crazy? Do you know how many goblins are out looking for you right now?!
Freak: Missed you too, sis.
Lady: Are you okay? Did you find Agetha?
Freak: I’m fine. And no, I didn’t find her.
Lady: But the lamp!
Freak: It was a dud. The real lamp is still somewhere in their hideout.
Lady: Oh no…
Freak: Yeah, but don’t worry about it, sis. I’ll get her back.
[Freak jumps the counter.]
Lady: Where are you going?
Freak: It’s time. I need that other lamp, now.
Lady: You mean Rolo?! You plan to release him?!
Freak: I have no other choice. And it’s not like he would be completely out of my control.
[Freak heads into the lost and found closet. He notices the boxes.]
Lady: Oh, that girl was in here earlier looking for a textbook.
Freak: Someone with a last name other than Goomblins came?
Lady: I know, right.
Freak: I knew she didn’t look familiar-- Damn, where is it?
Lady: It should be in the back. Maybe it fell behind the shelf when she took out the boxes.
[Freak bends over and looks behind the shelves.]
Freak: I don’t see it.
Lady: No, it should be there. I always check up on it… just in case it accidentally brushes against something, you know?
Freak: You don’t think that girl took it?
Lady: She doesn’t seem like the type to steal. I let her take that stuff animal, though.
Freak: Shoot. Rolo is my last resort. What’s that girl’s name?
Lady: Oh my, I didn’t catch it. How unprofessional as me.
Freak: It’s fine, at least I saw her. I’ll catch you later, sis.
[Lady follows Freak outside. It’s dark and rainy now.]
Lady: Be careful, Freak.
[Freak disappears.]

[Meanwhile Coey runs into her room. She drops Rufus on her bed.]
Coey: Dang, I didn’t find it. I guess I’ll have to rent one from the library…
[Coey shakes her head. She drops her jacket. She pauses when the nightlight in the pocket makes a noise after it hit the floor.
Coey digs through the pocket and pulls out the nightlight.]
Coey: Oh shoot, I didn’t put this back… Oh well, she said I could take anything pass thirty days right? Aimee is scared of the dark too so she’ll probably appreciate this.
[Coey plugs the nightlight into the wall.]
Coey: Oh no! Dinner is already starting… I better go!!
[Coey quickly leaves.
The scene focuses on the nightlight, which shows a small screen that says, “Now Charging: Do Not Remove.”]

[Meanwhile Coey quickly runs into the dining hall. She finds Aimee and quickly sits besides her.]
Aimee: What took you so long? You missed giving thanks!
Coey: Sorry I was just in the pouring-freaking-rain walking half way cross campus.
Aimee: Oh yeah, how was that? Did you find your book?
Coey: No! But I got a night light for you.
Aimee: You jacked from the lost and found?!
Coey: The lady said I could!
Aimee: Whatever, man. Well thanks, anyways. Here, you can eat off my plate-- I got too much anyways.
Coey: Thanks. So hey, Aimee, have you ever heard of a family with the last name Goomblins?
Aimee: Sure. From our principle.
Coey: Our principle?!
Aimee: Yeah-- well, he’s mostly taking care of the High Division, so that’s why we don’t hear him too often. We’ll probably see him next year when we transfer higher.
Coey: Huh.
Aimee: Why?
Coey: Nothing, I heard that half the students and faculty members are relatives and share the last name, Goomblin.
Aimee: Really? How cool. Gosh, talk about special treatment.
Coey: Yeah.
[Coey and Aimee fall into silence until the teacher comes by again.]
Teacher: And where were you, Miss Noble?
Coey: A-Ah what? What are you talking about?
Teacher: Don’t play jokes with me, Miss Noble. I’ve had it up to here with you!
[Everyone stops talking and Coey notices everyone looking at her and the teacher.]
Teacher: You are always late and failing your classes! Miss Noble, if you do not shape up your act I will be forced to send you home!
Coey: I’m sorry…
Teacher: You keep saying that! Miss Noble, do you even care about your education?
Coey: …
Teacher: That is what I thought. Another failing grade on my next test, Miss Noble, and I will send you home before you can even blink.
[The teacher leaves.]
Aimee: Coey?
[Coey is flushed red with anger.]

Please don't say that because the story has goblins that it's inspired by Labyrinth. I assure you that the story has no connections with that.

On other news? Amber spent the night and today I got to hang out with some friends I haven't seen in a while. We played Little Big Planet and then went to the movies to watch Avatar in IMAX. Lizzy drove me home and I owe her so much for doing that, thank you so much. :)

I cried when I got home because this world is actually really lonely when you feel like your existence is only to humor people. That when the day is done no one talks you because you only seem to matter in that moment. Then my mom told me to stop making so much noise and go to bed. It's naive to think, but I hope that if I work hard and just keep writing and drawing that this void in my heart will go away.

I would have to say KL Morgan's "A Forfeit of Dreams" is one of the best fanfics I ever read. :)
It's a Labyrinth fanfic-- but please don't judge it as something like a horny that's focused on only JarethXSarah. It's so much better than that, I promise you. ;)

Thirty Days Meme

Day 14 → A non-fictional book: Does this count? Dennis and Charlie got it for my birthday last year? X3

Day 01: Favorite Song → Anyone whose known me will know my favorite song is "Beautiful Boy" by Lola Ray. "Love Like Winter" from AFI comes in second and ANYTHING by Eisley I will be in the mood to listen to.

*** But since I'm in the KPOP phase I will say that "SIGN" by Brown Eyed Girls is my all time favorite right now. :)

Day 02 → Your favorite movie: Has to be Labyrinth (Hellboy 2: The Golden Army and Constantine are close in second, though.)

Day 03 → Your favorite television program: This is hard. I like all cooking shows overall, but actual TV series? I only liked House for so long... and I never watch any show with devotion. But for this the answer should be Everyday Italian. Every time I see that it's on I switch over to it regardless of what I was watching previously-- Don't judge me!! T_T

Day 04 → Your favorite book: I'm a romance novel junkie. You have every right to tease me. I read Johanna Lindsey's books-- But only her Malory series. The rest of them sound extremely alike. My favorite would have to be "A Kiss To Remember" by Teresa Medeiros. I liked it because she really included the side characters and how they interfere with the story. I really don't like it when romance novels only have the main girl and boy.

Day 05 → Your favorite quote: It's technically a quote, but not something you would expect. At the beginning of this semester my brothers said they were going to move out and take me with them. It's because of that, that I really began to think of my future. It inspires me to push on, I guess.

First, the outfits.

As you may, or may not have read during the last few journal entries I have written; our group can be pretty ugly.

And our cosplays can be pretty uglier.

So we thought are digimon cosplays were good. But not like, SUPER AMAZING.

But omg.

We didn't even step five feet into AX the first day when we got hoarded with cameras. Seriously, we got so many pictures taken and so many compliments. It was insane.

Thank you so much to the people who supported us during our FIRST GROUP cosplay at AX.

It was REALLY stressful to put these outfits together and we are so thankful for everyone who complimented us. ;___;

I also got to see raku_gosha, kuroi_rubyheart, and cruzle!!!
Raku gave me a free Ryouhei cut out to go with my Chrome key chain that I bought from her ;__; I seriously love it Kim, I checked like every time we sat down to make sure it was still there. I also saw Kelcie too so that was fun :)

AND AND AND

We met.

SOOO many people.

It was insane. To the point where we closed our eyes all of us could see cameras.

Thank you for giving us apple pies, cookies, and free stuff X) We were SO caught of guard and SO flattered.

I also got a hug from the sonic gang!!! We met them but then Yamato wanted to see Knuckles again to give him a rose. It wasn't until like, the third day we got to see them again @_@ Yamato gave Knuckles the Rose and it was just me and Sonic standing there and I figured SINCE HE WAS SO FREAKING COOL, I'll just give him Pocky. So I did. And I got a hug.

AX makes us feel loved. ;__;

UGH I MISS IT.

Anyways.

We took pictures with a really nice Pokemon group. They were so sweet and SUCH good sports. :) And we met an ASH who we started high fiving every where we went kind of lol.

OMG Our Yamato started a fight with an Ash. No one was really around to see but there was yelling. Our Yamato was so confused because all she said was like, "WHAT?!" As a joke. But that Ash was scary. XD

And... hmmm...

OMG. Nice AX people.

After Chibi like, on three different times did AX staff members personally come to compliment us. We got to go back stage and sign up for the masquerade for next year. <333 So happy!

And I also saw Chibi Masquerade twice ;)

Dances We Danced

Chibi Masquerade was the BOMB. We all messed up so horribly and omg XDDD None of us could hear the music because the crowd was yelling.

Then afterwards we did the dance again... and again...

The girl at the ticket booth let us have tickets for AMV contests in exchange for a picture. XDDD We forgot our hotel papers so we HAD to agree. (Not that we minded.)

OMG. And then the girl at the ticket booth SET ASIDE tickets for seats in the Masquerade. She even labeled it "for the digidestined".

All in exchange for a dance.

Seriously, people could be so sweet.

. Dancing late at night in regular clothes. Yes, outside the hotel.

. Matt and Sora hiding from a guy.
. Taking pictures with the angry pin.
. Practicing our dance in front of a beer machine with the beer guy watching us. (We had to borrow this plug lol.)

Stuff TK bought

Surprisingly I didn't waste all my money this year!!! <3333 Last year I easily spent around 300 or less dollars. But I BARELY went over a hundred this year. And half the money I spent was for food and paying Izzy back for Pizza.

OH and the ticket guy let Izzy off without paying for the car valet. OH HO HO HO HO.

^^^ Three Doujins, PINS, and some other stuff. I lost a Sasuke pin that I bought with my Sakura one. :( So sad!!!

I was pretty happy they had a Patamon key chain :) Then while Joe, Sora, and Matt were away the rest of us got matching poop key chains XDDD

And even though I'm not into this anime as much, I couldn't stop staring at this print so finally I just bought it.

I also got the Chrome keychain from raku_gosha <33333 But it's on my back pack so I'm too lazy to get a picture of it right now LOL.
